* Spring, 1950 - Washington Senators Baseball School at Winter Garden, Florida. George Myatt, Joe Engel & owner Clark Griffith, pitchers Sid Hudson and Joe Haynes.

* Spring Game at Wrigley Field, Los Angeles - Cubs & Browns play to a 6-6 tie. Klippstein, Carmen Mauro, Randy Jackson and Roy Smalley of the Cubs, Tom Upton and Owen Friend of the Browns. April - Old Timers Dizzy Dean, Cochrane, Gehringer, Home Run Baker and Travis Jackson in action prior to Texas League Opening Night game at Dallas. Then, 1950 M.L. season is previewed. Players shown: Sam Jethroe at Braves Field, Bobby Morgan, Phil Haugstad, Dan Bankhead and Newcombe at Yankee Stadium along with rookie Dick Wakefield and Joe DiMaggio. * April 8 - Hollywood Stars of the PCL open season with new uniforms - including shorts! Manager Fred Haney, Frank Kelleher, Murray Franklin of Hollywood, Manager Sweeney of Portland. Stars win 5-3 at old Gilmore Field!

* May 14 - Pirates and slugger Ralph Kiner at Wrigley Field. Hank Sauer and Andy Pafko (HR) of the Cubs.

* Sat, May 20 - Harry Brecheen and Cardinals beat Warren Spahn 7-4 at old Braves Field.

* May 31 - Big White Sox-Senators trade - Sox get Ray Scarborough, Robinson and Kozar for Kuzava, Michaels and Ostrowski. Also news on Raffensberger, Duke Snider, Lopat, Paul Lehner, Bob Chesnes & Newhouser.

* June 17 - Big trade discussed from a different perspective. ChiSox Manager Red Corriden, Eddie Robinson, Chico Carrasquel & Scarborough. Then, Cardinals visit Ebbets Field but are beaten by Bums, Newcombe vs Howie Pollet. Shown in closeups are Stan Musial, Enos Slaughter and Marty Marion.

Cardinals: Manager Dyer, Musial, Schoendienst, Marion, Slaughter and Pollet. Braves: Manager Southworth, Sain, Bickford, Spahn, Torgeson, Elliott, Sid Gordon, Jethroe and Willard Marshall. * August 5 at Cleveland - Eddie Lopat and Allie Reynolds can't stop Indians big bats, as Joe Gordon hits #14 and Larry Doby slams two homers. Early Wynn beats Yanks 4-2.

* August 6 at Comiskey Park - Chico Carrasquel is having a great rookie year and hits in 24 straight games!

* August 6 at Braves Field - Sain and Braves beat Cubs and Johnny Schmitz 5-2 in first game of Sunday DH.

* August 20 at Cleveland - Billy Pierce and ChiSox help dash Tribe pennant hopes with 6-5 win over Mike Garcia in second game of DH. Rookie Al Rosen hits his 33rd homer for Indians, but Gus Zernial clouts 4-bagger for Sox.

* Sunday Sept. 24 at Yankee Stadium - Jerry Coleman, Joe DiMaggio and Cliff Mapes do the damage vs Red Sox hurlers Nixon and Ellis Kinder. Ted Williams slugs two homers in losing cause. Vic Raschi and Yanks inch closer to another pennant and win 9-5 Sunday afternoon game. Rizzuto, soon to be MVP, hits home run!

* Post-Season M.L. All-Star Team - for 1950 selected by Look Magazine and announced on TV with Roy Campanella.
